Susie is an HR consultant with a difference. When you add occupational psychologist and organisational behaviourist to her 20 years experience in HR, she stands head-and-shoulders above the average HR consultant. Is Susie a stuffy academic? Absolutely not – she's well-known for her down-to-earth, can-do approach.

Susie has acquired her diverse experience from a variety of organisations including a background in the RAF, ASDA, logistics and financial services. She has consulted in many different companies from SME's to blue chip companies such as Barclays, BAA and Westland Helicopters, advising and project managing restructuring exercises, mergers and acquisitions, and acting as the HR programme leader.

Susie is also a Prince 2™ trained project manager, an invaluable asset that provides clients with many additional benefits.

Julie Westley: BS Hons Law

Julie is a practical, hands on HR professional with 30 years experience gained in fast moving retail/food environments. She has extensive experience in organisational development, recruitment and psychometric testing, reorganisation and redundancy. She has advised companies on disciplinary issues, appeals and tribunal applications and performance management. Her career experience encompasses both large and small company environments including McDonalds, Slug and Lettuce, Booker Food Group, ASDA, Torex Retail Holdings. She is a very user friendly HR professional, who believes strongly that HR must work for a business, not against it. She is a good business partner at all levels of the organisation, with experience of working and communicating from the shop floor to board level.

Karen Hodge

Karen has over 20 years experience in Human Resources, she is versatile, self-motivated HR professional, with strong customer focus. An amiable individual who has a pragmatic approach, she is results driven and capable of effectively and efficiently identifying creative solutions to everyday situations, balancing the needs of both the organisation and the individuals. Her experience was founded in FTSE 100 companies but she has since worked with companies varying from the second largest in the world (at the time of going to press) to three and four people family companies. This exposure enables Karen to effectively work with staff at all levels on projects of any size.

Kate Lowry

Kate is a Visiting Fellow at Cranfield School of Management. She has over 20 years experience working in organisations as an Organisational Development practitioner covering 3 main sectors, Retail, IT and Financial Services.

In organisations Kate has worked as a designer and implementer of key cultural interventions, change, leadership and management development programmes. She has run teams and implemented projects both in Europe and in the US.

An experienced coach and facilitator of group and team development, Kate is known for the creativity and pragmatism she brings to the work she is involved in.

She enjoys communicating complex ideas in a simple way, and helping people try out different ways of solving problems.

A keen interest in individual potential led Kate to train as psychotherapist in Gestalt, Bioenergetics, and Pesso Boyden System Psychomotor.

Fiona Ollerhead

Fiona is a Business Psychologist (MSc Occupational Psychology, Birkbeck College, University of London) and Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. Fiona has specialist expertise in the areas of individual and team assessment and development, coaching, and performance management and improvement. She has worked as a consultant both in house and externally and as part of senior Human Resource teams for over 10 years in both public and private sector industries including travel, transport, leisure, pharmaceutical and health.

Jan de Jonge

Jan de Jonge

A business psychologist with wide experience in assessment and development, management development, career coaching and organisational development. Jan has international commercial experience, gained in self-employment and as consultant/psychologist with SHL Plc, working on leadership and executive assessments both in The Netherlands and the UK.

Jan works in the public and private sector with sound experience in organisational business development, project management and delivery. Jan specialises in bespoke assessment projects, including competency and strengths profiling, designing assessment and development centres, as well as individual development and coaching.

Jan’s approach is characterised by placing the highest value on building a strong rapport with the client and constantly being guided by their needs, informed by his personal experience in business and a thorough understanding of professional service. Jan aims to improve the performance of the client organisation through improving performance and well-being of its people.

Jan is a member of the British Psychological Society (BSS), member of the Association of Business Psychologists (ABP), and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

Jan is qualified to levels A and B in psychometric testing and uses reputable, validated psychometric tools including SHL’s entire psychometric suite (including OPQ) and WAVE. Having trained many HR professionals in the use of psychometric tools, Jan has a strong experience of using personality and ability profiling tools with both individuals and teams at all levels, from chief executives to graduate trainees, in the context of selection, assessment, development and career transition work. Jan received his MA degree from the University of Amsterdam focusing on work and organisational psychology and subsequently completed post-graduate training in assessment and development consultancy.
